Introducing new products at ever-increasing rate is crucial for remaining, successful in competitive global economy. Decreasing product development cycle time and increasing products complexity requires, new ways to realizes innovative ideas. In response to these challenges, industry and academia has invented a spectrum of technologies that help to develop new products and broaden the no. product alternatives. Examples of these technologies include future based design, design for manufacturability analysis, computational prototyping and physical prototyping. Most designers agree that "Getting physical prototype fast" is a critical in exploring design concepts. The sooner designers experiment with new product the faster they gain inspiration for further design changes .To meet this goal, during last decade a new physical prototyping concept called "Layered manufacturing "has gain popularity worldwide. Since the aim of new technology is compression of time spent in product development, they are popularly known as "Rapid Prototyping" Before RP systems were introduced to the industry, the only ability to create models or functional parts directly from CAD data was machining by computer numeric controlled (CNC) equipment. In contrast to production of models by machining, based on the removal of material until the required form is achieved, RP model is made by adding material layer by layer until the whole part will be completed.
